Bug

The Hotel Bug is one of the oldest hotels in the city Brest. It is considered to be its cultural and historical monument. It was built in 1958 in the style of Soviet classicism with elements of classical Empire. The round corner of the building, the front lobby with pillars and a sweeping staircase leading to the upper floors, high ceilings in the rooms, stair carpets and heavy curtains were served as a hallmark of the city over the Bug in the 1950s. Times change but the story remains. We tried to keep the charm of Soviet classicism in the hotel. We did a little decorating in all rooms. Now we continue to renovate the rooms by equipping them with modern conveniences.
The eye-opener of the hotel Bug is a room of Vladimir Vysotsky, one of the world’s most famous bard musician in the 70s. We managed to recreate the spirit of the luxury of the 70s. Vysotsky stayed in the Bug twice in the 70s. A nice surprise is waiting for our guests in the bedroom. They can find a home theater with a large screen here. Using the projector, they can watch films and interviews with Vysotsky. There is a sofa, a chess table, chairs, a rare radiogram Rigonda, an old wooden clock, a black and white TV Neman in the living room.  All here, the furniture, interior and wallpaper create the atmosphere of the Soviet Union in the mid-70s. Next to Vysotsky room there is a room-museum.
