Church of the Intercession in Kletsk was first mentioned in 1626 as the Uniate church and it was located at a considerable distance from the city. The church stood at the entrance to Kletsk from Nesvizh side on a hill, which in the XVI century was called Goryn Hill. Church of the Intercession had five domes and its capacity was up to 1,500 people. People called the Church of the Intercession as the Cemetery Church, because the cemetery around the church was the main cemetery in Kletsk. The church was famous with the icon of the Mother of God, many pilgrims gathered there. After the Uniate Church was abolished and turned into Orthodox church it was left by Radziwiłł family unattended. Later a new church building in Russian style was constructed on the same place, now it is the Orthodox Church of the Intercession.
