The state institution "Regional Museum of Local History and History" was founded on February 6, 1981, opened for visitors on November 1, 1986. It is located in the center of the town of Uzda in the Minsk region.

The museum has six exhibition halls:

1. Uzda region from ancient times to the beginning of the Great Patriotic War - materials on the history of primitive society allow us to imagine the life of our ancestors.Particular attention is attracted to the collection of stone tools found during the excavation of sites and burials of ancient people, as well as accidentally found in the fields and shores of reservoirs, which allows us to trace the development and specifics of these items throughout several historical eras. In the museum collection there is a rich material that characterizes the life of the population of the district, handicraft, manufacturing, education, culture of that time.
2. Uzda region in the years of the Great Patriotic War - numerous museum materials are related to the theme "Great Patriotic War". These are leaflets, documents, weapons, combat awards, letters from the front, personal belongings of leaders and rank-and-file participants of the Great Patriotic War. It all allow you to clearly reflect the main stages of the war: an underground, partisan movement, the liberation of the region from the Nazi invaders.
3. Ethnography and way of life - In the section "National art" the products of masters of pottery crafts, weaving and embroidery, carving, rich collection of clay toys are demonstrated.
4. Nature of the Uzda region - It is fascinating to get acquainted with the flora and fauna of your native land, here you can see individual types of flora and fauna. Mighty owner of the forest - a bear, wolves, beaver, muskrat, various species of birds - for a long time remain in the heart of every young and adult visitor to the museum.
5. Honored figures of literature, science and art - the museum has a wealth of material about writers, scientists, honored cultural figures - native people of Uzda (composer Stanislav Moniuszko, artist Chaim Soutin, writer Mihas Pencrat, etc.). 
6. Exhibition hall - exhibitions of various subjects are shown from own funds and funds of other museums, private collections. The exhibition "Saved Values" (a collection of icons of the XIX century) is systematically demonstrated.
