The first Catholic church in Volkavysk - Church of St. Nicholas was placed in 1430 by Grand Duke Vytautas. This temple was destroyed in the XVII century, when Volkavysk went broke down several times during the various wars.
Modern building of the Church of St. Wenceslas was built in 1846-1848 in the late Classical style at the expense of the parishioners at the initiative of the priest Jan Lenikovski. In August 13, 1850 the temple was consecrated by Bishop of Vilnius, Vaclav Zhilinsky, the future Metropolitan of Mogilev. In the 1930s, when Volkovysk was part of the inter-war Polish Republic, restoration was carried out.
The temple plan has a rectangular shape. Temple has three naves, naves divided by six columns. The central nave ends with altar space with a small rectangular apse and two rectangular lateral sacristies. The main facade has two towers on the sides. The central part of the main facade is decorated with four pilasters, the side of the main facade is the basis of square towers, flanked by pilasters and finished with a frieze and cornice. Between the towers is attic of a curvilinear shape. Side facade rhythmically dissected by pilasters and decorated with arches that flank the semicircular window openings. The central altar is highlighted by four columns and decorated with sculptures, stucco ornaments and paintings.
Territory is enclosed by a wall of rubble stone and metal bars. The main entrance features with stone brama.
