The literary-memorial complex of Yakub Kolas "Smolnya". The Smolnya estate, the former home of the Mickiewicz family, is located on the outskirts of the village of Nikolaevschina, six kilometers from Stolbtsy. Here in 1912 was meeting between Yakub Kolas and Yanka Kupala. In 1946-1952, the poet worked here on the poems "Symon-muzyka" and "Novaya Zemlya", Smolnya described in the trilogy "Na rostanyakh". The last time Yakub Kolas was here a few months before his death, in April 1956.
The museum stores photographs, rare editions of the poet's works, letters to relatives, valuable things. Also here you can find linden, which was planted by Yakub Kolas and Yanka Kupala
