The Palce of Count Potemkin was built in the late XVIII century by Russian architect Ivan Starov. Potemkin was the host of the palace when Catherine II came there. Later the representatives of the Golynsky family held there balls. In times of the Soviet Union the school acted in the palace. In 80s of XX century the palace was closed for restoration. It was completed in 2008, and the palace was opened for visitors. There are Krichev Museum and register office.
It is a two-storey palace with a central avant-corps on the main facade. At the center of both floors there are large round halls. The main facade is decorated by faceted pylons and merlons, which give the palace rigor and monumentality. The windows of the central avant-corps are lancet, windows of the side facades have pediments. The internal layout is enfilade (changed in 1950). In total there were more than 60 spacious rooms. On the ground floor there were front rooms: entrance hall with staircase and the oval hall. The rooms were richly decorated with moldings, had unique staircase and rare tiled fireplaces. Behind the palace there were the stables, facades decorated with blind arcade and orchard.
