At the end of December 2009 our city became the fourth in Brest region after Brest, Pinsk and Pruzhany, where hockey and figure skating will be available all year round.
The Baranovichi Ice Palace is a multifunctional complex.In addition to the ice arena, there are places for various sports and places for active recreation.
On the ground floor of the palace there is an ice field and stands for 2000 seats for spectators and 286 seats for staff who will come along with hockey players (doctors, coaches). 
In the right wing of the building along the corridor there are six dressing rooms, rooms for sharpening and drying skates, a coaching room, a sauna, as well as a travel agency, a referee room, a medical center, a massage room and an entrance to the field. In the left wing there are cash desks and various utility rooms.
On the second floor of the building there are a bowling alley with six lanes and a gym. The palace has a cafe for 70 seats and a buffet for 20 seats. There are two rooms for remote buffets. Also on the second floor there are five VIP-lodges for guests. On the left side on the second floor are the administrative building: the offices of the director, deputy director, chief accountant, chief engineer. As well as other service spaces: reception, accounting, inventory stockroom, laundry. On the third floor there are billards rooms, a conference hall, a choreographic hall and a fitness room. There is also a buffet for 30 seats. On the third floor there is a guests room for 10 people. In addition, the Ice Palace has an acrobatics room 48x36 m, which can be used for volleyball and basketball. Also it is possible to hold boxing competitions here. 

The walls of the building from the inside are mostly plastered with gypsum board, fiberglass wallpaper are glued on it, which are painted in warm tones of beige, light beige, orange, yellow.
Ceilings from metal cassettes with perforations, and in the central part - from grilyato (special thin metal): if you look up, then this ceiling looks transparent, and if you look at the offset, the metal overflows, resulting in a beautiful color game. On the floor in the lobby are tiles of different colors: green, red, blue, but its pattern in the form of a mosaic is repeated on all floors. In the corridors on the aisles to the ice field, a protective covering will be laid over the tile. The floor in the acrobatic hall is wooden, a stable structure that allows you to jump and run, in the fitness room - parquet, laminate or rubber-based. The stairs of the main staircases are made of natural granite. Each stage is highlighted on both sides by neon light bulbs. The columns in the foyer of the first floor are covered with a protective compound. In case of fire this composition swells and restricts access to the metal, which protects the column from destruction. Inside, for the decoration of the palace, materials of Belarusian origin were mainly used. The company "Megamaster" (Minsk) is engaged in the manufacture of granite steps. The Lida firm "Cascade" makes fences for security throughout the Ice Palace - handrails on the first and second floors. Folding chairs are made by the Gomel company. On the floor the tile of the Belarusian factory "Keramin. Equipment for bars, cafes and buffets will be manufactured by Baranovichi firm "Yavid".
It should be noted that the ice field is used not only for playing hockey. Now Baranavichy Ice Palace has purchased equipment, through which it is possible to transform the ice field into a concert venue. Also, the arena is equipped with equipment for concerts and other entertainment events. In this case, a coating is laid on the ice, protecting the ice from melting and from penetrating the cold outside, on which the stage is installed, and in the parterre there are 500 additional chairs.
