The whole history of these places is closely connected with the development of glass production. Berezovka was founded in the late 19th century. The city was formed around the Gut, founded in the Lida region of the Vilna province, it's what people used to call glass workshops in Belaya Rus. The first guta was opened in 1875 on the territory of Ustran Borki. In 1883 Guta began working in the Berezovka tract. September 19, 1883 the local landowner Zenon Lensky appealed to the Lyde Povet Office for permission to "erect a glass factory at the forest dacha Zaenchitsy". But in Zaenchitsy, he was not allowed to build it, taking the territory in the forest near Staraya Guta for construction. In 1891, the Lensky factory was rented by Wilhelm Krajewski and Julius Stolet. In view of Lensky's refusal to sell the factory, in 1896 these masters built their own factory at steam power. Since then the industry flourished, and hence the city itself.
