We give visa support for foreign citizens arriving to Belarus. Foreign citizens may enter Belarus and depart from Belarus on valid national passports and visas unless otherwise specified in the agreement between Belarus and foreign countries.

Citizens of 80 countries who arrived in  National Airport Minsk, will be entitled to visa-free entry to Belarus for a period not more than 5 days. The relevant decision is contained in the Decree of the President of Belarus on January 9, 2017 № 8 "On establishment of visa-free entry and exit of foreign nationals."

For entry into the visa-free mode, you must have a valid passport or other equivalent document for travel abroad, cash (for each day of stay the amount of currency or Belarusian rubles, not less than 46 BYN), a medical insurance policy for an amount not less than 10 thousand euros, operating in Belarus.
For the citizens of Vietnam, Haiti, Gambia, Honduras, India, China, Lebanon, Namibia, Samoa compulsory additional requirement is the existence of the document for going abroad a valid multiple visa EU member states or Schengen area with a mark on the entry into their territory, as well as tickets confirming leaving from National airport Minsk within 5 days from the date of entry. 

Visit visa-free citizens of Belarus will be 39 countries in Europe, including the entire European Union, as well as Brazil, Indonesia, the US, Japan and other countries. List of countries:

The procedure to obtain visas to the Republic of Belarus with assistance from “TOP TOUR” Ltd. at consular offices in the host country:

The procedure to obtain visas to the Republic of Belarus with assistance from “TOP TOUR” Ltd. at the consular office in the host country at the national airport “Minsk-2”

In the consular office at the national airport “Minsk-2” visas are issued to foreign citizens arriving to Belarus from countries where there are no consular offices of the Republic of Belarus. To citizens of other counties visas are issued as an exceptional measure.

2. On arrival at the national airport “Minsk-2” a client turns to the consular office where on the basis of documents of the host country he/she gets a visa and pays the consular fees.

Note: entry visa application on arrival in the Republic of Belarus is carried out exclusively at the national airport “Minsk-2” ( Smalyavichy city). Other crossing points of the Republic of Belarus don’t have consular offices.

Travel visas for Belarus

In order to enter Belarus most foreign tourists need to get one type of visas: transit, short-term/ long-term, single/ multiple.

Who doesn't need a visa for Belarus?

 Most foreigners need a visa to enter Belarus.

Citizens of the following countries don’t need a visa:

  • The CIS (except for Turkmenistan);
  • Venezuela (for stay for up to 90 days);
  • Georgia;
  • Qatar (for stay for up to 30 days);
  • Cuba (for stay for up to 30 days);
  • Macedonia (with an invitation or tourist voucher);
  • Mongolia (for stay for up to 90 days);
  • Serbia (for stay for up to 30 days);
  • Turkey (for stay for up to 30 days, 90 days during a year);
  • Montenegro (for stay for up to 30 days with an invitation or tourist voucher);
  • Israel (for stay for up to 90 days) – from 26 November 2015.
Exceptions are also holders of diplomaticс passports from:
  • Argentina
  • Brazil
  • People’s Republic of China
  • Hungary
  • India
  • Iran
  • Romania
  • Slovakia
  • Turkmenistan
  • Vietnam

All other foreigners need a visa.

How to get a visa

Visas are issued by:

  • Consular offices of Belarus;
  • Diplomatic representatives of Belarus;
  • Consular Centre of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at Minsk Airport.

In order to get a visa, you should provide the following documents to your local Consular or representative office:

  • completed visa questionnaire;
  • 1 passport photo;
  • supporting documents (original letter of invitation with the signature and stamp of the host party , if a business company invites);
  • other documents agreed by the Consular office (depending on the aim of visit and type of visa required.);
  • passport (with the date of expiry should be at least 90 days from the date of expiry of a visa).

Visa on arrival

Foreign tourists arriving to Belarus via “Minsk” National Airport can get a visa at the airport.

Foreigners should provide in advance (no later than the established deadline) all documents to the Foreign Admissions Division (FAD) of the Consular Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, which is located at the airport:

  • for short-term visas – no later than 3 working days before the expected arrival date;
  • for long-term visas – no later than 5 working days before the expected arrival date.

You can apply documents personally or by post taking into account the delivery time.

In case of serious illness or death of a close relative (family member) visa support documents can be provided at the time of application for a visa.
