The public scientific institution "Central Botanical Garden of National Academy of Sciences of Belarus" – is one of the oldest botanical institutions of Belarus. The Central Botanical Garden (CBG) has been organized in 1932 according to the decision of Council of People's Commissars of BSSR.
Today it is unique natural object of the landscape gardening art combining functions of a capital place of interest and the major cultural and ekological-educational center.
The botanical garden is the largest center for preserve of biodiversity of plants in the country, the lead scientific institution in the introduction, acclimatization, physiology, biochemistry and plant ecology, environmental protection.
It belongs to number of the largest botanical gardens of Europe as on area (about 100 hectares), and on structure of collections of plants (more than 10 thousand names).

In the garden there is an exposition greenhouse in which visitors can see more than 600 species of subtropical and tropical plants. The greenhouse of fruit citrus plants is only and unique in Republic of Belarus in which are collected about 100 grades of a citrus: 60 grades of lemons, about 15 grades of oranges, 10 grades of tangerines, about 10 grades of grapefruits.

Working days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Output (sanitary) day is Monday!
