Church of Saints Simon and Helena or Red Church is a monument of architecture, built with Neo-Gothic style with modern elements. It was built in 1905-1910 years on the Independence Square for money of the landlord Edward Woyniłłowicz in memory of his early deceased children. Architects are Tomasz Pajzderski and Władysław Marconi.
The Church is asymmetrical with three nave and three towers. The interior has stained glass windows and copper chandeliers. Among the most honored shrines of the Church is a copy of the Shroud of Turin, which was given as a gift by Turin Cathedral in 2000. In front of the Church entrance there is a bronze sculpture of the Archangel Michael (1996, sculptor I. Golubev), he is considered as the saint patron of Belarus. The sculpture was installed due to the beginning of the work of Roman Catholic Synod in Minsk.
In ten meters to the left of the Archangel sculpture a memorial composition "Nagasaki Bell" is installed. The center of the composition is a bell, a replica of the bell "Angel", which miraculously survived the atomic bombing. A copy of the bell is a gift of the Japanese people to the people of Belarus. The memorial is a monument to the victims of Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Chernobyl. Since its opening in 2000 every Sunday at 12 o'clock the bells of three cities ring at the same time, as a reminder of the victims and of life as a great gift of God...
The Central Botanical Garden of NAS of Belarus is the largest center of biodiversity preservation and the leading scientific institution in the field of plant ecology in the country. Research and practical work in the field of plant adaptation led to the creation of gene pool of ornamental and useful plants, which includes more than 12 thousand items, national treasure of the Republic of Belarus.

Church of Holy Trinity is located in the "Zolotaja Gorka" district. There is a legend that the church appeared thanks to a doctor.
The National Academic Grand Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus was founded in 1933 as the State Opera and Ballet Theatre of Belarus on the basis of the Belarusian studio of Opera and Ballet.
